Amanda Barbee

Owner, Instructor

Amanda Barbee is a certified personal trainer, Pilates instructor, and co-founder of Women’s Wellness Day Retreats, with over two decades of experience in movement and rehabilitation. Her journey into Pilates began after overcoming personal challenges with ulnar nerve dysfunction, including a surgical recovery that required her to relearn and reconnect with her body. It was during this journey that Amanda discovered the transformative power of fascia training and Pilates.

In 2016, Amanda opened On Point Pilates Studio to create a space where movement could bridge the gap between rehabilitation and fitness. For the past nine years, On Point Pilates has been a haven for clients to rediscover their strength, balance, and confidence. Amanda believes Pilates is more than an exercise method—it’s a tool for healing, growth, and empowerment. Her approach is deeply personal, meeting clients where they are and creating customized programs that honor the uniqueness of every body and every story.

Having spent many years as a single mother, Amanda understands the demands and challenges of balancing family, work, and self-care. Now married, she draws on her personal experiences and professional expertise to create a compassionate and empowering environment for her clients. Her extensive background in corrective exercise, personal training, and rehabilitation shapes her ability to support clients in their individual journeys.

Amanda continues to deepen her knowledge through ongoing education, staying committed to evidence-based practices that empower her clients. Whether teaching a class, leading a workshop, or hosting a retreat, she is devoted to helping others live actively and confidently through movement.

Brianna Guerrero

Instructor

I’m Brianna Guerrero, and I’m thrilled to be part of this amazing studio community! Originally from Porterville, California, my journey with Pilates began about four years ago when I took my first class in Houston. That experience sparked a passion in me that has only grown stronger over time.

Since then, I’ve explored and experimented with different styles of Pilates, falling in love with the endless techniques and variations this practice offers. Pilates, for me, is more than just a workout; it’s a movement practice that connects the mind, body, and soul. My favorite movement is the full swan—I just love the elegance and strength it embodies.

As an instructor, my mission goes beyond the reformer & mat. I’m passionate about learning as many languages as possible, so I can share the joy of Pilates across different cultures and communities around the world. One quote that resonates with me is by Lana Del Rey: “I used to wonder if it was God’s plan that I should be alone for so much of my life. But I found peace. I found happiness within people and the world.” This quote reminds me of the beauty of connection, both in life and the community around us.

I can’t wait to guide you on your Pilates journey and discover the unique strength and joy that lies within each of us.
